I have worked for SARP since 2003 as a Dialysis Technician
II, servicing in-house machines, satellite clinics and home patients. I am
also part of the Policy and Procedure Committee for SARP. From 2002 to 2003 I was a Biomedical Engineering Technologist in Red Deer, Alberta. From 1989 to 2002 I was a Biomedical Engineering Technologist in Regina, Saskatchewan. Within that time frame I was also involved in Dialysis in Regina from 1993 to 2002, as well as being a general Biomedical Technologist.
I graduated from the Saskatchewan Technical Institute,(now known as the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology, SIAST) in 1983 as an Electronic Engineering Technologist and worked for a couple of local computer firms and one international computer company Digital Equipment Corporation which was bought out by Hewlett Packard. I became a CET in 1985.
